If a device has the potential to cause issues on your PC, such as BSODs, crashes, and etc., it may be advisable to remove said device from the Windows Device Manager.

Before doing this, please uninstall the device and its associated software from the Windows Apps Manager found by right clicking the Start button and then clicking "Installed Apps".

Once that is done, please follow the below instructions to completely remove the device:

1. Right click the Start button, then click Device Manager
2. In the Device Manager, click the View menu, then click Show Hidden Items
3. Once hidden items are showing, expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers
4. If you see a greyed-out item for the problematic device in this section, right click it, select Uninstall and if prompted, click Delete driver for this device.
5. Reboot your PC, and then reconnect the problem device, and see if the previous issue persists.
